Idea

Introduction

An innovative platform that allows smartphone users to monetise their unused mobile data whilst aiming to remove some of the barriers that prevent access to the internet.

3.5 billion smartphone users worldwide all pay to access the web. Many are unable to access the internet on a daily basis due to technical or financial constraints. Conversely, 67% of smartphone users do not consume all of their mobile phone data available to them each month.

Aloha has the solution: the Aloha Open Wi-Fi app, allowing smartphone users to share that unused data in exchange for payment. The data is shared to create a peer-to-peer free to access Wi-Fi hotspot that is freely available for everyone that needs it - no barriers - no catches.

Aloha app users are rewarded for sharing their data with the Aloha Loyalty Token, a proprietary crypto token that will be able to be exchanged for fiat currency.

Substantial accomplishments to date

Monetisation strategy

While Aloha is currently pre-revenue, we intend to develop four primary sources of revenue:

1. Users will be able to exchange the tokens they have earned either for Bitcoin, or cash which can be transferred to an Aloha Debit card. In either case, a transaction exchange commission will be generated of which Aloha receives 50%.

2. We intend to build a feature where users will be able to spend their tokens through the Aloha Virtual Mall which provides access to a wide range of retailers. Aloha will receive an affiliate commission ranging from 5% to 30% of the total customer spend.

3. Push message advertising – brands to pay a fee to broadcast messages to selected members of the Global Aloha community.

Local advertising - local small businesses will be able to design and broadcast offers and promotions to Aloha members within the catchment area of their business.

4. Partner Affiliate commissions – affiliate programs in which our partners pay us commission for sending traffic and/or sales generated from within the Aloha App or shopping mall
