Idea
Introduction
Connected Kerb is an electric vehicle charging company dedicated to making a positive impact on the world. Our goal is to make charging accessible, convenient, and dependable, as part of our ambition to become the UK's preferred charging network. We provide on-street community EV charging, collaborating with local authorities to assist those who cannot charge at home - representing over 44% of UK households according to research by Lloyds Bank.
Additionally, we install durable EV charging infrastructure at workplaces, retail areas, car parks, commercial properties, and for residential developers.
We have installed over 7,100 public charge points at 850 locations across the UK, with over 55,000 EV drivers having used our network to date (data from Feb 2020 to June 2024).
Connected Kerb Inc. was established in North America in March 2023 and has already won substantial contracts in San Francisco and New York.

Monetisation strategy
The NWF’s financing, alongside, a further £10m ordinary equity investment from Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva plc, will support the UK-based charge point operator’s ambitious plans to grow its charging network towards 40,000 sockets.
This substantial investment into the UK’s public charging infrastructure is critical for delivering the forecast requirement of at least 300,000 public EV chargers by 2030.
