Equals Health started with a simple question - how can we make healthy organic food easily accessible for everyone?
It has been our mission to create a healthy organic food brand that makes a difference to the environment and our customers' health, the go to brand for healthy organic meals, a brand you can trust.

Organic food markets and online purchasing of food continues to grow. Consumers have become more aware of the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle, and recognise the ecological benefits organically farmed produce has on the environment. We believe Equals Health is positioned to capitalise on this rapidly growing trend.
We are a certified organic business and using seasonal organic ingredients which are ethically sourced, lovingly sliced, chopped, cooked and packed in the Equals Health kitchen by our expert team of chefs we have created great tasting, nutritious meals that retailers and online customers will love.
Substantial accomplishments to date
2017: Founder Harrison Jones appeared as a candidate on BBC's The Apprentice with his Equals Health business idea
June 2018: Equals Health officially launched as an online meal prep company, delivering nationwide to individuals, businesses, gyms and other well known clients such as Saracens rugby team and Champneys health spas.
May 2019: Officially became a certified organic company through the UK’s leading certification body, The Soil Association.
August 2019: Started Working with Planet Organic on a new grab and go range.
Q4 2020: Equals Health new range of healthy Organic frozen meals to launch online.
March 2020: Began the process of developing an organic range for a new online food delivery business created by Abel & Cole.
Q3 2020: Returned from 2 months of lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic to achieve our strongest months of sales to date in July

Monetisation strategy
We currently sell B2B, supplying a number of companies with co-developed products, including Planet Organic and As Nature Intended.
Deliveries are made to Planet Organic and As Nature Intended stores three times a week. Our range of products sold through Planet Organic, the leading organic supermarket in London, has increased from the original range of healthy organic sandwiches to include salad bowls, breakfast pots and Christmas sandwiches on a seasonal basis.
We also sell to a fast growing Irish home delivery food business, increasing our capacity from a batch order every few months to a weekly shipment of the same amount. This customer aims to double their order as soon as we have the upgraded kitchen unit and capacity.
Our online store is about to launch after an extensive period of research and development with a range of delicious frozen organic meals. Customers can order individually online for next-day nationwide delivery.
Use of proceeds
Our products are healthy and super tasty. We believe that consumers' demand for healthy eating will drive their buying habits towards organic foods and to Equals Health, an accredited supplier of organic foods.
Your investment will go into 3 main areas, focused on helping us grow as a business.
These areas are:
Online Marketing: Focus on digital marketing aimed at bringing in new customers through different streams of targeted marketing.
NPD: We are working on products for our retail and online ranges.
Facilities: Our new kitchen unit will provide Equals Health with the space it needs to fulfil increasing existing orders and future orders.
From the point of investment Equals Health will focus on the growth of our online presence. Beginning with our successfully launched range of organic frozen meals, before offering new tasty meal options and product ranges such as salads, breakfast pots, snacks and drinks.

Key Information
Outstanding debt
The company has an outstanding Bounce Back loan of £20,000. This loan is interest-free for the first 12 months followed by 2.5% per annum for five years. The loan is to be repaid 8 May 2026.
The funds raised from this investment round will not be used to repay this loan.
