Introduction

Did you know that investing in a more sustainable way can reduce your carbon footprint more than switching to a renewable electricity tariff, going veggie and stopping flying combined?

And the traditional financial institutions we trust with our savings are continuing to pump money into the fossil fuel industry?

Thats why we created GreenGrowth, an investments app that lets users invest in underlying sustainable funds across a range of impactful environmental themes like clean energy and sustainable agriculture.

We do this in an incredibly engaging way, that we haven’t seen anywhere else. After measuring a user's carbon footprint we invest them into corresponding environmentally-themed funds, weighting them more heavily into the areas they are most polluting.

Users can also self-select which environmental themes they feel most strongly about and invest in those too, giving a fully customisable sustainable investing experience.

Substantial accomplishments to date

We have been featured by Sifted (part of the Financial Times) as one of Europe's top Wealthtech Start-ups to watch.

We were recently selected to be part of the FCA’s Green FinTech Challenge helping support new products and services that offer genuine innovation and consumer benefit to aid the transition to a net-zero economy.

We were selected to take part in one of the world’s most prestigious accelerator programs - Startupbootcamp Fintech 2021. We completed this and we receive ongoing mentorship and guidance from expert Fintech leaders and entrepreneurs.

We have completed several rounds of user testing of our Alpha app to laser focus our product strategy and to ensure product/market fit.

GreenGrowth has the required regulatory permissions in place to operate. GreenGrowth is an appointed representative of Risksave Technologies Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Monetisation strategy

We will charge our users a 0.6% per annum management fee for investments made and held with us in the app. The fee will be pro-rated and charged to the user on a monthly basis to ensure regular cash flow.

Use of proceeds

We truly believe we’ve created the best sustainable investing experience out there, and now we want to tell the world about it! This funding will help us execute our marketing strategy, which involves building our waitlist of loyal early adopters so that when we launch we’ve got a green community of customers ready to use the app.

Our goal is to give you the best investing experience you’ve ever had - bar none. So our plan is to hire a dedicated Customer Success representative to answer all our customers' questions, queries, or just to have a chat with them!

Technology plays a big role in why we’re able to build such a new and innovative app. Part of the funding will go towards working with our technology partners, with the aim to offer users products they’ve never seen before - including investments based on their own carbon footprint, personalised impact metrics and a fully customisable investment portfolio.
