To mark the new year we took a look back at the people, companies and activity that have made up another record year for Seedrs in 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over \u00a385 million invested into campaigns with 159 deals funded<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seedrs investors from 65 countries made 45,000 investments<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seedrs Alumnus FreeAgent became the first British equity crowdfunded business to IPO, giving Seedrs shareholders liquidity on a public stock exchange<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We released our first-of-its-kind Portfolio Update, providing a comprehensive analysis of all Seedrs deals and their performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jeff Lynn, Seedrs, CEO &amp; Co Founder said &#8220;2016 has been the biggest year ever for Seedrs with an unprecedented amount of capital invested into 159 inspiring deals. In late summer, we continued our European expansion, despite the outcome on Brexit, opening offices in Berlin and Amsterdam.
