Since 2017, we at Isle of Barra Distillers have crafted spirits with passion and purpose.

Our Barra Atlantic Gin, in a bespoke bottle made from 52% recycled glass, has won Gold at IWSC and British Glass awards.

Launched into World Duty Free with listings in national airports for our award-winning spirits. With our diverse sales channels from D2C, B2B, our Island Shop, Exports and now Travel Retail, we have increased revenue by 25.2% from 2023/24*

In 2024, we secured a landmark Waitrose deal, expanded exports to India and Asia, opened our Glasgow office, and grew our team.

We then broke ground on our new Single Malt Whisky Distillery on the Isle of Barra, set to open in 2026, our biggest step yet!

Use of Funds

Isle of Barra Distillers seeks to raise £750k, with £600k funding the next phase of our new distillery build, including production and equipment.

The remaining £150k will drive business growth through marketing, distribution, product innovation, and team development, ensuring continued success.

Material Debt

The company has the following outstanding loans:

1. £225,000.00 loan from HSBS - RLS at an interest rate of 5.9% per annum. The loan is to be repaid in February 2027.

2. £45,000 Bounce Back Loan from Clydesdale Bank at an interest rate of 2.5% per annum. The loan is to be repaid in April 2031.

The funds raised from this investment round will not be used to repay these loans.
