About the Campaign

Mizen is an innovative young startup on a mission to be one of the first halal payment account in France 🇫🇷, and we don’t plan to stop there.

Our mission is to develop financial solutions that comply with Muslim ethics for all the financial needs that Muslims in France and Europe may encounter.

Market Opportunity

Riba, or interest, is omnipresent in the financial world. It is found in checking accounts, investment and financing solutions.

We aim to develop inclusive Islamic finance services for the masses. We started with a basic yet impactful financial product : a halal account enjoyed by 19k users so far.

Traction & Key Accomplishments

What started as a dream turned into a reality, thanks to 130 investors who believed in us and invested a bit more than 1M Euros and helped us build the halal digital account.

We have now more than 19 K users and are looking to add additional services in order to compete directly with conventional banks.

Our Real Estate product is ready to launch and already vetted by our Sharia board.

Use of Funds

We will use the funds to :

1) Plan towards Europe expansion : currently our main market is France

2) Launch our Real Estate product to allow our clients to buy their home without riba

3) Invest heavily in client acquisition

This is the fully-diluted pre-money valuation of the business (i.e. before the new investment comes in and including issued options and other equity interests). In contrast, the post-money valuation is based on inclusion of the new investment in the value.

Equity Offered

In some scenarios, entrepreneurs may accept additional direct investment after closing their Seedrs campaign. Provided this is within 6 months of the closing and on the same terms, we do not typically offer pre-emption rights on that extra investment (where you have the opportunity to invest again to maintain your percentage shareholding).

Custodian

If you invest in this Campaign, Seedrs will act as Custodian rather than provide our standard nominee service. This is due to the fact that the business is not directly involved in the share sale and Seedrs will not benefit from any rights under a shareholder agreement.
