Introduction
PUNCHY is an independent craft punch producer based in Peckham, London.
At PUNCHY we make delicious ready to drink punch in bottles and on tap, and in the inclusive spirit of the drink have promised that all of our flavours will be available with and without alcohol — meaning in a world drinking less than ever, our customers have the freedom to choose what's best for them, and never have to miss out.
Since our launch in June 2018, we have secured listings with Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Ocado, Farmdrop, The Three Cheers Pub Co, Hippo Inns, Incipio Group, Fenwick and more.
In April this year, the same month we launched our Tequila Punch alongside its non-alcoholic twin to join our alcoholic and non-alcoholic Spiced Rum Punch, PUNCHY was nominated by The Grocer for ‘Start-Up of the Year.’
PUNCHY is now seeking £250k investment under EIS to fuel expansion and new product development within the exciting low and no alcohol category, with aluminium cans and on-tap as key formats going forward.
Intended impact
PUNCHY is on a mission to bring back punch, and in a world where alcohol consumption is declining, aims to offer a fresh perspective on drinking.
66% of millennials admitted to feeling peer pressure to drink in some way in the last year, whilst teetotalism has also grown.
Responding to this shift, PUNCHY aims to offer choice with a solution to drink or not to drink — without either feeling inferior or superior.
On top of this, with people becoming increasingly mindful of their diets, we aim to create healthier, better-tasting drinks in the ready to drink category, with the promise that all of our drinks will be as low in sugar and calories as possible, vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and made using natural ingredients.
Our concept means we're one of the few brands that can tap into both the drinking and not drinking market simultaneously, both of which are large and both of which are expected to grow exponentially in future.

Monetisation strategy
We are volume-driven business, operating within a growing market sector. Our monetisation strategy rests on expanding sales by developing existing channels, expanding into new channels and developing new products.
Online
We're very excited by online as a channel for PUNCHY, with Ocado, Amazon, and our website being primary platforms to reach new customers.
Wholesale
We use wholesalers to reach our customers in both the On-Trade and Off-Trade, we are currently listed with Enotria & Coe and are looking to expand this offering in the next year.
Events
We want to be seen at the best trade shows and festivals at the country next year to generate both new leads and sales.
Export
We are looking to partner with an export specialist to access new markets, in particular, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and USA.
