SolarDew’s patented solar desalination products provides safe and high quality drinking water to people in coastal and arid areas. It uses the heat from the sun directly to distill water through a membrane leaving all contaminants behind without the need for high pressure, chemicals or electricity. SolarDew’s products are simple, easy to use and maintain and robust, and thus exceptionally suitable for off-grid applications.


Thanks to technologies from the packaging industry, we can produce a high quality product at a low price that is also scalable.

Reliable desalination using only solar energy

The point of use desalination market is estimated at 92 million people with 7-8% growth (CAGR) annually. Current technologies are either too expensive or unreliable to provide a long term solution.

SolarDew has local distributors in Chile, Greece and Kenya. SolarDew has been co-funded by the EIC Accelerator and backed by professional investors, securing €800k for the current round.
