Key features
Idea
Introduction
Stamp Free allows customers to send parcels, online returns, & letters without the need for any labels or stamps, securely and easily with just a phone; via our app, a carrier app or, even more simply, via WhatsApp.
You simply select & pay for shipping in the app (or log a return), receive a Stamp Free 8 digit code & write the code on the parcel/letter. You then take a photo of the item & our AI validates the code before the item is shipped; secure, sustainable and convenient!
The technology can be accessed via the Stamp Free app, via a postal app or directly via WhatsApp through our AppFree™ platform which can be accessed by WhatsApp's 2.7bn userbase.
160bn parcels are shipped globally per annum needing 160bn shipping labels. As Stamp Free is label free we also benefit the environment.
Finding the right stamp or printing off a parcel label is a pain. Queuing at the Post Office is a pain. Stamp Free tech makes shipping convenient, is good for the planet & posts/consumers love it.
Substantial accomplishments to date
Stamp Free is making noise in the industry. We have won 2 global postal technology awards voted for by Postal CEOs. We won the PWC UK Technology Innovation of the Year Award in 2022 making our solution one of the most innovative technology products in the UK. We have also made the final for multiple global & UK technology/environmental innovation awards.
Our largest investor is a Silicon Valley VC headed up by Dr. Ronjon Nag who is a global AI pioneer having sold companies to Apple, Motorola & RIM (behind Blackberry).
Our Board & Management Team is made up of Board-level directors from across the global postal & technology industry.
From independent market research of 500 people, 93% of people would rather use the Stamp Free solution in place of their existing shipping solution.
We have signed heads of terms with partners across North America, Europe and Africa.
The Stamp Free solution is market ready & includes the following products:
o Consumer app: Label Free outbound shipping & online returns of parcels using a phone & Stamp Free code
o Carrier app x 2: enables posts/carriers to scan/validate Stamp Free coded items through their network to delivery but also to put a parcel label on a Stamp Free coded item when they receive it if required
o AppFree: the ability for users to ship parcels & returns just by using WhatsApp, no need to download a postal/carrier app.
Monetisation strategy
Stamp Free will look to generate revenue in the following ways:
1. Implementation and transaction (per parcel / per letter) fees: set-up and ongoing fees paid by postal carriers.
2. Licence fee income: paying for exclusive rights to utilise Stamp Free patent protected technology in specific markets and jurisdictions.
Use of proceeds
Investment of funds raised based on forecast cost base over the next 12 months:
Product Development & Implementation - 43%
Sales & Marketing - 25%
Operations - 27%
Legal & Professional - 5%
Whilst we are continuing to invest in the development of our technology, our focus is on gaining traction: sales and marketing efforts to win customers, supported by implementation and operations to deliver world-class service.
