Idea

Introduction

Evarvest was born out of a desire to change the complex and outdated financial system worldwide, and make investing in the brands and companies that mean something to you, simple. Like owning shares in Nike, Adidas, or Apple.

From our own investing and work place experiences, we’ve noticed that the finance industry can’t keep up with the next generation of investors, the way that tech companies like Facebook, Uber and Spotify can.

93% of stock market value is divided between 3 continents, America, Europe and Asia. But the access to other markets is limited and the cost is high.

We’re uniting the world’s stock exchanges and making them accessible to investors across the globe. At the same time, we’re educating people on how to invest, so that they can become wise investors and secure their financial future.

It’s time to make investing as simple as having a smartphone and a good WiFi connection – the way it should be!

Intended impact

At Evarvest we believe in the power of investing. By uniting the world’s stock exchanges, our goal is to support regular people in a way that empowers them to start investing and develop their investment skills.

The next generation of investors, like us, are between 18-35 years old’s and now make up 63.5% of the world’s population.

Morning Brews 2017 Report found that 89% of people in US, Canada and Europe between 18-35 years old invest. Of those, 42.4% choose their trading platform based on fees. Sadly, only 18% are confident about their investment knowledge.

Despite US$57.9 billion being invested into fintech companies in the first half of 2018, to our knowledge there is still no Fintech that is globally accessible, provides simple and jargon free education, removes barriers to entry and makes investing social... until now!

We’re like the Spotify of global stock trading, with easy picking stock playlists and the ability to follow your friends portfolios. We make investing easy, accessible and community driven.

Monetisation strategy

Our business model is planned to be simple, we will place a small margin on FX at the time of the trade, we will have a small cost for instant trades and we will have a small margin on the brokerage costs we pay to access stock markets outside the US.

We’re happy to confirm that we will be offering commission free trading for all stocks & ETFs listed on the NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA and AMEX stock exchanges in the US.

Use of proceeds

Your investment will enable us to launch our app, continue our global expansion, and increase our educational library.

We will also lay the groundwork for our second phase of development - a pension fund, i.e. retirement savings, for the next generation of investors.
