CLIQ is a social networking and community app that allows users to connect with like-minded individuals, join interest based communities and attend local events. We are making social apps 'social' again.

At CLIQ, we're driven by our powerful mission which is to combat the epidemic of loneliness in today's digital age and revolutionise the way that people connect both online and offline.

We understand firsthand the impact of social isolation and the longing for genuine human connection. More than 1 in 3 people in the UK feel lonely with limited access to IRL connections.

CLIQ was born from a vision to address this issue and to fundamentally transform the way that we meet new people and form connections.

Monetisation strategy

We will be monetising CLIQ in 3 main ways.

Imagine Facebook groups and Eventbrite had a baby... that is what CLIQ is building.

Use of proceeds

We will be using the crowdfund to invest in a high growth team and marketing.

We have just launched V1 in June and we are looking to further develop the app with key features that will allow us to stay competive in the market.

We will be using the rest for marketing campaigns and spending on paid advertising, PR and events via a marketing agency.

Valuation (pre-money)

This is the fully-diluted pre-money valuation of the business (i.e. before the new investment comes in and including issued options and other equity interests). In contrast, the post-money valuation is based on inclusion of the new investment in the value.

Equity Offered

When the amount raised is less than 100%, the equity offered is based on the target raise. Once the company has raised over 100% it is based on the total raised.

In some scenarios, entrepreneurs may accept additional direct investment after closing their Republic Europe campaign. Provided this is within 6 months of the closing and on the same terms, we do not typically offer pre-emption rights on that extra investment (where you have the opportunity to invest again to maintain your percentage shareholding).

Custodian

If you invest in this Campaign, Republic Europe will act as Custodian rather than provide our standard nominee service. This is due to the fact that the business is not directly involved in the share sale and Republic Europe will not benefit from any rights under a shareholder agreement.
